"Pfft!"

It was as though someone had installed a showerhead in the Headmaster's Office.

Dumbledore's expression froze instantly, and the tea he had not yet swallowed sprayed everywhere.

Kyle seemed to have anticipated this. He sidestepped out of the way, then calmly watched Dumbledore snatch away the photograph, his face shifting endlessly between green and red.

The photograph showed two young men solemnly carrying out some sort of ritual.

And because of the angle, the picture was incredibly clear—so clear that even the expressions on their faces were plainly visible.

The window!

Dumbledore immediately realized where the photograph had come from.

There had been a tiny window in that barn. Kyle must have taken the picture through it.

The faint glimpse of window frame at the edge of the photograph confirmed it as well.

But Dumbledore could not understand it. Through such a small, inconspicuous window, Kyle had somehow perfectly captured the entire process of forging the Blood Pact?

With the added effect of developing potion, it looked almost exactly like Dumbledore's own memories.

"You..." Dumbledore looked utterly miserable. "How did you do that?"

When they had forged the Blood Pact, they had carefully checked their surroundings. There should not have been anyone there at all.

So why was this photograph so clear? It felt as though it had been taken right in their faces.

Was that even reasonable?

His shock was so obvious that the headmasters on the walls, who had been pretending to sleep, noticed that something was wrong. They all opened their eyes and craned their necks toward the desk.

What had Kyle just said... Albus and Grindelwald's Blood Pact?

They were far too curious.

Before they could do anything, though, Dumbledore suddenly waved his hand.

All the portraits spun around at once, collectively facing the wall.
