Kyle made no comment on whether Hogwarts or Beauxbatons was more impressive, but he truly disliked the way people like Rosier and Grindelwald conducted themselves.
They came over without a word, then proceeded to point at everything as though Hogwarts was inferior to every school they had attended.
If Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were so wonderful, why had neither of them won the last Triwizard Tournament?
Did they simply not like winning?
"Are you thinking something rather rude?" Rosier suddenly asked, looking at him.
"No, how could I be!" Kyle denied repeatedly. "I was just thinking about the exams. You know, N.E.W.T. results are very important to every wizard.
"And as a qualified professor, it's only natural that I'd worry about such things."
"Is that so?"
"Of course."
Rosier gave Kyle another look.
She did not believe a single word of it, but she could not be bothered to argue.
"Where is it?" Rosier held out her hand. "You know what I want. Don't disappoint me."
"It's already prepared." Kyle took out the photo album he carried with him and handed it to Rosier.
Out of habit, she was about to open it and inspect it.
"I'd advise you not to do that." Kyle placed a hand on the album. "It's for your own good. Grindelwald probably wouldn't want a third person seeing what's inside, even if that person is his most loyal subordinate.
"If you're trying to confirm that it's safe, rest assured. No matter how foolish I am, I wouldn't think a single photo album could take out Grindelwald."
Rosier said nothing.
Neither did Kyle.
In truth, he was not pressing down on the album with much force. If Rosier had insisted, she could have easily pulled it free, but she did not.
After they remained deadlocked for a
