After the start-of-term feast, Minerva McGonagall, as headmistress, invited several professors to the Headmaster's Office on the eighth floor.

First was Professor Sacia, along with the remaining three Heads of House.

Though Horace Slughorn had not received a formal invitation, he had a thick enough skin, and no one was about to throw him out.

"By the way." As McGonagall reached the door, she suddenly turned to Kyle and Kanna. "You should come too. As new professors, you need to familiarise yourselves with the specific duties."

"Headmistress, I'm not a new professor anymore," Kyle said.

Although Ancient Runes did not have many lessons—only one a week—it still counted.

"But it's your first time teaching Alchemy Class."

"All right, that makes perfect sense." Kyle immediately turned and followed them.

After the start of term, the Headmaster's Office had changed its style as well. More than half of the silver instruments whose purposes no one knew had been removed, along with several cabinets, but a large bookshelf had been added.
