So far, everything had progressed fairly smoothly—of course, that was excluding the pain and torment Chong Ming, Yin Kuang, and Lu Xialeng had endured!

Under the combined effect of multiple factors, the "sun" Chong Ming had become finally returned to the exact center of the "Red-White Axis." Thus, the ratio between the "Red Axis" and the "White Axis" became five to five once more!

At this moment, inside Red Leaf's office on the twelfth floor of the library, Bai Ao stared wide-eyed at a light screen, observing the situation outside. However, compared to his previous nervousness, he had calmed down somewhat. After all, he had yet to see any real danger so far. Chong Ming was his closest friend. But upon closer inspection, a fine sheen of fragrant sweat covered her smooth forehead. Under the light, it looked as though a faint glow radiated from her brow.

"Why are you here? Weren't you supposed to—" Bai Ao said in surprise. Red Leaf walked straight to the desk and dropped into the plush executive chair. After letting out a breath, she said, "I've already done what I needed to do. Where else could I go if not here?" As she spoke, Red Leaf rubbed her forehead. "Now, we can only see what their 'fates' hold." Bai Ao looked at Red Leaf, fell silent
