Location: Hundred Thousand Mountains (fictional).

Time: third quarter of the Hour of the Tiger.

In a deep, pitch-black gorge, a dazzling burst of purple light suddenly bloomed. Space split apart like a sheet of paper, and a purple divine dragon emerged from the rift.

The purple light faded, and darkness once again ruled the gorge.

As it landed, the purple divine dragon transformed into human form. With a thud, Yin Kuang collapsed to the ground. He could not even spare a thought for Sun Wukong's statue.

Cold sweat covered Yin Kuang's entire body. His face was especially pale, yet an eerie golden glow flickered across it from time to time. With a puff, he spat out a mouthful of blood. Even that blood glimmered with the same strange golden light.

"What an overbearing Ruyi Jingu Bang!" Yin Kuang muttered bitterly. With his physique, whether in dragon form or human form, he could not withstand the erosion of the Ruyi Jingu Bang's golden light. He had been forced to leave the "spatial rift" early. In addition to the injuries caused by the golden light's erosion, he also had the piercing wound in his buttocks.
