Lu Yan Shows His Might

While the White-Haired Witch, Golden Swallow, Lamb, and the others were locked in a chaotic melee, Jason and the others had already charged out of the Great Grass Sea. The instant they left the dense thickets of wormwood, everyone felt a sudden rush of relief and exhilaration. But as soon as those feelings arose, they were drowned out by the danger behind them and Golden Swallow's predicament.

"We have to go back and save her!" Jason shouted. "We can't leave her there alone!" Lu Yan nodded heavily. He had originally intended to return and save her after seeing Jason out of the Great Grass Sea. "You go! I'll go back and save her! Don't hesitate any longer, or we'll all die!" With that, he gave Jason's shoulder a hard pat. "Remember your mission. Complete it!" Then he charged back into the Great Grass Sea.

"Wait!" Silent Monk suddenly shouted, then tossed something over. Lu Yan turned and caught it. It was a wine gourd, and when he shook it, he found it was still half full. Startled and delighted, Lu Yan looked at Silent Monk. Silent Monk smiled. "This is my last reserve." Lu Yan laughed heartily and dived headfirst into the Great Grass Sea.

Silent Monk said to Jason, "Go! The Hundred Thousand Mountains are right ahead. Once we enter the mountains, we'll basically be safe." Da Si smiled seductively. "Once we enter the forest, even the most skilled hunter can't catch a cunning fox." The three of them dared not hesitate any longer and headed straight into the mountains. Jason, however, could not help glancing back from time to time, clearly worried about Golden Swallow.

Da Si looked at him and asked, "Do you like that girl?" Jason froze, then quickly shook his head with a flickering gaze.
