Background / History

Xiao Chen is a transmigrator who awakens within the body of the Xiao Clan ancestor in the Demonic Lotus Fire Space. The original body's mind is being overwhelmed by the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame's Demonic Flame Divine Seal when the Myriad Ancestor System binds to him, restoring his reason and giving him access to the original Xiao Chen's memories. 1 2

After refining the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, he accepts the System's mission to restore the declining Xiao Family. His initial thought of killing Xiao Yan to avert the Three-Year Agreement results in punishment from the Nine Profound Golden Lightning; he then accepts a hidden mission to cultivate Xiao Yan into someone capable of defeating Nalan Yanran. 4
