The dull thud of Luffy and Usopp hitting the floor echoed through the noisy tavern with startling clarity.

For a moment, the drinking patrons all turned to look at Luffy and Usopp. Seeing how bedraggled they looked, the crowd could not help but chuckle softly.

Feeling somewhat embarrassed, Usopp's face reddened. After taking a moment to recover, he slowly got to his feet and glanced down beside him, just in time to see the wine bottle he had stepped on rolling away. He immediately felt annoyed.

He had not expected to be so careless that he had failed to notice even a bottle, making such a fool of himself in front of everyone.

But when Usopp noticed that Luffy was still sprawled on the ground beside him, unable to get up just like him, his annoyance and embarrassment instantly vanished without a trace.

"Ha ha ha, Luffy, how could you be so careless?"

Usopp laughed heartily. Seeing Luffy's sorry state, he had already forgotten his own earlier disgrace.
