A windfall from the sky

Taichu had long wanted to visit Gao Xian, but after he took over as Lord of Shaking Light Palace, she knew he would be buried beneath countless tedious affairs.

After waiting for more than a month, she heard that Gao Xian had become a hands-off shopkeeper and gone to Auspicious Star Palace. Only then did Taichu come knocking.

"Please, sit."

Gao Xian invited Taichu to sit and poured the cool, beautiful woman a cup of tea. "The autumn days are fine. Have some tea first."

Taichu could tell this was a top-grade spirit tea, steeped to perfection. Its spiritual qi had been fully awakened, and its fragrance was clear and lingering without being so rich that it seized the nose and tongue.
