Background / History

Yun Zimo is a transmigrator who became a leading figure of the Misty Cloud Sect. In his early years, he was assigned to the sect's Law Enforcement Team and later traveled for five years. Those travels, which involved repeated danger, deception, and violence, changed him from a bookish youth into a pragmatic and ruthless cultivator. During this period, he formed a mercenary group and developed the sword intent that became the basis of his signature swordsmanship 7 8.

After returning to Misty Cloud Mountain, Zimo took control of the Punishment Hall. He purged corrupt elements within the sect, opposed Ge Ye and the Mo Clan's influence, trained disciples, recruited talent, and pushed reforms intended to prevent the Misty Cloud Sect's foretold destruction 2 5 9 10.

He later left the sect to seek a path toward the Dou Emperor realm, choosing to challenge powerful opponents across the surrounding territories. In the Black-Corner Region, his intervention saved Ren Xia and Xia Lan from the Black Skull Tomb. After killing the tomb's master, he helped establish Xia Lan's control over Black Skull City and became the organization's Great Commander 22 29 30.

Following conflicts with Soul Hall and a near-fatal confrontation with Protector Zhi, Zimo journeyed south with Yun Yun and Xiao Yi Xian.
