Gang Core Formation

• A cultivator must form a Gang Core, also called a gang pellet or Gang Pill, in the dantian’s sea of qi before entering the Gang Refining realm 210.
• The core continually converts qi and blood into higher-quality gang qi. Abundant blood vitality alone cannot produce this qualitative transformation without a core 210.
• Core formation requires both comprehension and fortune: the cultivator must understand the cultivation method and correctly guide qi and blood 210.
• Lin Qing’s Seven-Colored Gang Core produces unusually condensed, domineering energy with superior circulation efficiency and recovery speed 214 233.
• His core is eventually confirmed as an Innate Supreme Gang Pill, explaining his ability to overcome a higher-tier opponent’s Gang Force 371.

Realm Characteristics

The Gang Refining system contains six levels, although Lin Qing’s Tide Gang Refining Art records cultivation methods only for the first three 210.

Accumulation and Refinement

• Source Crystals supply concentrated energy when ambient spiritual energy is too sparse for rapid cultivation 214 239.
• The Tide Gang Refining Art estimates that reaching Outer Gang requires nearly ten times Lin Qing’s reserves at the point described, costing at least a hundred mid-grade Source Crystals 232.

• He can conceal this radiance with the Black Tortoise Hides in the Abyss Art, making the protection transparent and invisible 214.
• Highly purified Gang Force approaches tangible substance; its movement through his meridians is repeatedly described as sounding like surging rivers 232 240.
• After lightning fusion, bright-violet threads appear within his seven-colored energy, producing purple lightning blade auras 312.
• Manifestations vary between users: documented examples include pale-golden shields, poisonous Gang Force, frost-producing moonlight, and ice-bound attacks 249 326 327 401.

Abilities & Applications

Protective True Gang

• Forms a defensive layer that can destroy ordinary weapons before they touch the skin and greatly weaken qi-and-blood attacks 214.
• Lin Qing uses it to stop arrows, weapons, and a coordinated battle formation during the Holy Temple convoy attack 234.
• At late Inner Gang, his protective field excludes dust, insects, and other small intrusions within three feet 240.
• Yue Ling’er and Ji Han maintain protective true gang to resist the Ancient Baleful Battlefield’s pervasive Killing Intent 401.

Offensive Projection and Compression

• Can be compressed around a fist to increase destructive force or condensed into a vortex before impact 218.
• Supports projected palm strikes, blade auras, hand blades, and fingertip attacks 234 249 371.
• Lin Qing’s layered Gang Force penetrates a Wolf Demon Martial Saint’s forelimb like drilling awls, attacking bones and muscles beyond the initial contact point 235.

• In Qi Transformation, Gang Force merges into cells, strengthening muscles, bones, internal organs, and physical senses 290.
• Lin Qing shapes it into blades, swords, shields, birds, and beasts 290.
• Maintaining a detailed blade-shaped construct with little effort demonstrates the depth of his foundation and control to Han Ning and Zhu Luoyu 305.
• Gang Force can penetrate an opponent’s body to suppress internal circulation and immobilize them, as Lin Qing does to Long Lihong 251.

Thunder Gang Force

• Lightning fusion adds speed, violence, penetration, and destructive power to Lin Qing’s attacks 312.
• His lightning blade aura cuts through Meteorite Iron essence and damages the wall beyond the training target 312.
• Full activation of his Seven-Colored Gang Pill and Thunder Gang Force creates a Thunder Domain three zhang in diameter, slowing and weakening incoming attacks 324.
• Lin Qing improvises a Lightning-Attracting Shield using his blade, Thunder Gang Force, and surrounding lightning energy. It withstands dozens of Lei Long’s strikes before breaking 335.

Wound Stabilization

• Expels hostile baleful gang qi from an injury 272.
• Forms fine threads that gather and seal torn flesh, stopping bleeding 272.
• Suppresses and refines residual Killing Intent around the wound; the treatment still leaves a scar and pain 272.

Alchemy and Construction

• Maintains furnace heat and precisely adjusts the transition from fierce fire to gentle fire during pill condensation 232.
• Activates a pill furnace’s fire aperture and wraps medicinal ingredients for controlled placement 312.
• Penetrates a cracked iron pillar, melting and fusing its broken surfaces into a stronger gang-iron structure. Lin Qing completes the repair in three breaths 278.

• Tide Gang Refining Art — Controls and tempers Gang Force for tidal bursts of power, but its recorded methods cover only one type of gang qi and the first three realms 210 214.
• Seven-Colored Gang Pill — Gives Lin Qing unusually pure, abundant, rapidly recovering Gang Force; later identified as an Innate Supreme Gang Pill 233 234 371.
• Whale Fall Gloves — Source Rune artifacts that amplify his Gang Force and protect his hand when gripping the back of the Lone Moon blade 239 249 273.
• Verdantwood Mountain-Suppressing Hammer — Resonates with his Gang Core, naturally circulating and purifying his Gang Force through its integrated rune system 288.
• True-Nature Thunder Seal — Accelerates thunder-energy absorption and provides limited access to Lei Long’s assistance; its power boosts Lin Qing during his fight with Yue Jinglan 337 342.

Limitations

• Protection is not absolute. Superior cultivation and Gang-piercing Source Artifacts can overcome protective true gang; specialized Source Rune concealed weapons are designed for this purpose 227 311.
• Reserves can be exhausted. Lin Qing’s strongest attack against the Moon Clan brothers consumes nearly ninety percent of his Gang Force and damages his meridians 328.
• Law-based power can suppress it. Lei Long’s lightning shackles disperse Lin Qing’s gathered Gang Force and prevent him from escaping 335.
• Exceptional foundations do not erase battle conditions. Lin Qing shatters Tian Yuan’s Fifth-Tier attack with Fourth-Tier Gang Force, but Tian Yuan’s strike carries less than one-third of his peak power, and Man Gui immobilizes him before the killing blow lands 371.
• Gang Force is not universal to every cultivation tradition. Great Barbarian Kingdom warriors are described as tempering their bodies instead of training Gang Force 406.
