The number Conrad had left before was Kujaku's, so it was no surprise someone had contacted it. He casually tapped to put the Transponder Snail on speaker.
"Hello, this is Conrad."
"Hi, I miss you so much. Do you miss me?" The woman's voice was seductive and alluring.
Conrad immediately hung up and handed the watch back to Kujaku. "Scam call."
Kujaku took it, her eyes filled with suspicion. Before she could put it back on her wrist, the Transponder Snail began to go "purururu" again.
She answered it.
"Hello, Conrad. I have something very important to discuss with you. Could you go somewhere private so we can talk in detail?"
"You're the scammer!" Kujaku glared at Conrad, threw the Transponder Snail aside, and dragged Baby-5 away through the snow.
Baby-5 turned back with a gentle smile. "Kujaku and I will head over first. Come when you're done. I'll wait for you."
Snowflakes drifted down as Conrad walked into a secluded alley. After closing his eyes and sensing that no one was nearby, he turned off speaker mode and raised the Transponder Snail to his ear.

The caller chuckled for several seconds before teasingly saying, "That really hurts... Have you forgotten me already? Back when we were together, you kept burrowing into my arms and couldn't bear to leave."

The watch Transponder Snail's calling range was limited and not particularly wide. A call definitely could not reach from West Blue, which meant Baccarat could not be far from Marineford.
