Baby-5 naturally had no need to answer. She sat sideways on Conrad's lap, leaning against his left shoulder.

Conrad picked up a sheet of blank paper in his right hand and laid it flat on the table. His pen danced swiftly across it as he sketched a portrait of a woman, then held it up for the others to see.

"The person we're rescuing is Nico Robin, Ohara's sole survivor. I met her once in West Blue, and she gave me a hand."

Kujaku frowned. "Cutie~ You drew three circles and a cross, and you think that means you drew a woman?"

Conrad turned the drawing around to look at it himself. It might not have been lifelike, but it was certainly expressive and vivid.

He turned it back toward the three of them and pointed at the face. "Look at that nose bridge. A straight, high nose bridge. You don't see that often."

Drake stopped suppressing his smile and shook his head solemnly. "All I see is a French fry."

Conrad could hardly believe it. He had grown up reading comics! He had often copied them to draw portraits for people, and no one in the entire orphanage had ever said he was bad at it!

Then he suddenly recalled the abstract human figures in the comics from this world and came to a realization. So these people were the ones with questionable taste.

He swept his pen across the paper again, sketching limbs as thin as bamboo poles. Then, beneath the neck, he emphatically drew two large circles, outlined them in black, and turned the paper around with complete confidence.

"This time I got it right, didn't I?"
