Blood seeped through the fat and streamed down Drake's dragon arm.

"Conrad! You're here! Did you see that? Do you know how strong this guy was?" Drake pointed at the fallen trees around them, weeping as he complained, "He did all this! He nearly beat me to death!"
As he spoke, he tossed aside Machvise without even sparing him a glance, his eyes fixed solely on his bloodied claws. "Good thing I had the resolve to fight to the death! With my super faith, I defeated him! Roar~!"
Coughing up blood, Drake let out a dragon-like roar toward the sky, tears streaming down his face. All he could see was a bright future ahead; among the names that would one day dominate the seas, there would surely be the Hongwu Emperor, Drake!
Conrad shook his head, clapping even louder. "Amazing, amazing. He's one of the Donquixote Family's fiercest warriors! His strength is probably no less than mine. You may have already surpassed me."
Drake returned to human form. Though his face was bruised and swollen and he looked utterly bedraggled, he held his head high and puffed out his chest, seeming several sizes taller and sturdier.
