After lightning blasted the four Evil Energy Beasts to death, not a scrap of their bodies remained. Only a faint trace of evil energy drifted into the air before the wind scattered it completely.
"Evil Energy Beasts are much like ghosts and evil spirits, except they have physical bodies."
Huang Tian sensed them briefly and understood. Then he lowered his gaze to the Crimson Sun Knight, who had barely managed to stand, focusing on the fiery-red belt around his waist. An exceptionally fierce, surging power lay within it. That power was bright and righteous, yet its source bore a strange resemblance to the power of the Evil Energy Beasts.
"The two likely came from the same source, split into righteous and evil halves."
After a brief look, Huang Tian discerned the relationship between the Savior Knights and the Evil Energy Beasts: they gave rise to and countered each other, natural opponents.
"The belt holds a great deal of source power, but this man probably became a knight only recently. He hasn't fully drawn out its power, so he can wield only the equivalent of Fourth Stage strength."
The strongest of the Four Savior Knights had combat power comparable to the Fourth Stage. The strength of the other three was easy to imagine. Of the four Evil Energy Beasts Huang Tian had just killed, the weakest had been equivalent to the Third Stage Late Phase, while the strongest had been around the Fourth-Stage Middle Phase.
And those beasts clearly had not been among the strongest, yet they had still driven the Crimson Sun Knight back. No wonder the world had nearly fallen into despair.
After surveying the ravaged battlefield, Huang Tian sent his vast mental power sweeping outward toward the ends of the sky. Scene after scene unfolded before him...
