He acted without restraint, feared no death, had no soul, and was neither righteous nor evil... Wasn't that a player?
The thought flashed through Huang Tian's mind. The next instant, a faint wave of dizziness washed over him.

An infinity of dazzling colors swallowed him...
"Master?"
When Huang Tian opened his eyes again, he found himself in an ancient-style hall. He sat cross-legged on a jade platform, with seven cushions to either side, each occupied by one of his seven disciples. The disciple seated first on his left called out cautiously.
Huang Tian looked over. The disciple wore a dark blue Daoist robe and a jade hairpin. He appeared to be in his forties, with an air of weathered gravity. He was Huang Tian's eldest disciple, Xuan Jing.
Xuan Jing studied Huang Tian's expression. "Master, you fell silent for some time. Have we done something wrong?"
The other six disciples looked over too, unease on their faces. Today was their master's day to teach the Dao. He had been speaking perfectly well, then suddenly stopped. None of them had dared utter a word, afraid they had done something to displease him.
"It has nothing to do with you." Huang Tian's attention suddenly shifted. He gazed beyond the hall and said slowly, "Xuan Ming, unusual visitors have arrived outside the mountain. Go and bring them in."
Xuan Ming froze for a moment at being called, then rose. "Yes, Master!"
With that, Xuan Ming strode briskly down the mountain.
Huang Tian said no more. He closed his eyes as though resting, but was actually absorbing the memories that had newly appeared in his mind.
