An Eighth-Stage Late Phase powerhouse of the Longjue Race was cleaved in two. His body, over ten thousand meters long, split from the head down, spraying purple blood. Much of it splashed onto nearby asteroids, making them sizzle.

The Teng Snake, though cut in half, was not yet dead. Purple light rose over his body as he tried to pull himself back together, but dense black vapor welled from the wound. It spread swiftly across his entire body and consumed him.
Within two breaths, the Teng Snake's pupils went utterly dull. The two halves of his enormous body drifted through the stars, without a trace of life.
"D-dead?!" Dido stared, stunned. "Didn't Junior Brother Huang only just advance to the Eighth Stage? How could he kill an Eighth-Stage Late Phase powerhouse with one slash?"
"So strong!" Duoqu's eyes shone. Her fluffy white tail began wagging unconsciously, and her delicate fox ears flushed faintly red.
Sun Lin and Moyaqi exchanged a look, astonishment in both their eyes. "How many years has it been since an Eighth-Stage powerhouse fell on Battlefield 001? The last time was the Large-Scale War seven hundred and sixty thousand years ago, and only three Eighth-Stage fighters fell between both sides!"
After the shock came delight. Dido flew out of the ship and called, "Junior Brother Huang, take the Purple Crystal from between his brows! It's immensely valuable. It can be used to forge a High-Tier Star Artifact or made into medicine and pills to aid cultivation!"
At his words, Huang Tian looked toward the Teng Snake's floating corpse and beckoned. The Purple Crystal flew from between its brows into his hand, warm and smooth to the touch.
