Background / History

Tsunade left Konoha for more than a decade after developing severe hemophobia. Her condition was rooted in traumatic wartime memories, particularly the deaths of Nawaki and Dan Katō; exposure to blood could trigger an extreme physiological reaction. During her travels, Shizune remained at her side and regularly dealt with the consequences of Tsunade’s gambling habit. 39 51
