Uchiha Hikari replied, "Ever since I hinted at it to him that day, I haven't paid him any attention. He should still be working hard at Root Base."
"Honestly, what could there be inside Root Base that's worth you taking it so seriously?"
Tokiju smiled and said mischievously, "Want to know? It's pretty exciting in there!"
"Hmph! You're always acting mysterious." Uchiha Hikari pouted and turned her head away haughtily.
Tokiju joked a little, "If you want to know, come to my room tonight. I'll figure out a way to give you a peek."
At that, Uchiha Hikari's face suddenly turned red, clearly thinking of something naughty.
"Hmph! W-who would go to your room? I'm not that bored."
With that, she ran off without looking back.
Seeing her reaction, Tokiju knew she'd definitely gotten the wrong idea, but he didn't mind and headed for the dining room.
During the meal, Uchiha Hikari kept her head down, not daring to look at Tokiju.
Shizune, sitting beside them, glanced at Hikari strangely, then looked at Tokiju, who seemed completely normal. She had a feeling something must have happened between them.
After dinner, Tokiju washed up quickly and immediately returned to his room.
Tonight, he planned to use the Seeds of Light scattered throughout Root Base to see what the legendary Root Base was really like.
But just as Tokiju was about to quiet his mind and sense which Seeds of Light inside Root Base had finished charging, someone knocked on his door.
After sensing who was outside, Tokiju realized it was Uchiha Hikari.
"I can't believe she actually came!" Tokiju exclaimed. Then he smiled and immediately went to open the door.
When he opened it, Tokiju froze.
Uchiha Hikari was wearing black cat pajamas. Her slightly childish cheeks were flushed, and paired
