Zoldyck's Iron Knees X His First Meeting with Kagaya Ubuyashiki
"Knock... knock... knock..."
"Young Master, it's me."
"Enter."
The door was pushed open, Gotoh walked in with a serious expression. She then closed the door behind her and glanced nervously at Roy, who was sitting cross-legged on the bed, saying, "Young Master, someone is spying on us!"
Just as he was packing his luggage, the young butler felt as if he had been made "invisible" for a moment before he suddenly realized what was happening and immediately checked on Roy's safety.
"It's me." Roy had no intention of hiding it from Gotoh.
Smiling, he looked at the butler, who was clearly stunned for a moment, and said, "I bet your next question is going to be, 'How did I do that?'"
Gotoh:
Roy: "Don't be surprised,"
This time, [Circle] was used on Gotoh alone, and that familiar "spying" sensation instantly took effect.
The young butler experienced once again the feeling of having his innermost thoughts ripped out of his heart and exposed to the scorching sun. He gave a bitter laugh and said, "Young Master, please let me go."
"Heh heh~" Roy waved his hand. "Now you know, go back to sleep."
"Yes." Gotoh pushed up her glasses on the bridge of her nose, turned around and closed the door.
The door creaked shut, Roy's smile vanished instantly, and he glanced coldly out the window. "You go back to sleep too!"
Illumi, hanging upside down outside the window like an eight-legged spider, stared intently at Roy through the glass and said, "You care about me."
Roy: "6"
Illumi: "If you didn't care about me, why would you spy on me? So, you must care about me!"
I knew it...
"Bang!"
A figure flashed by, and in another glance... the foolish little brother transformed into a star in the sky and vanished in an instant.
Roy lowered his fist and muttered under his breath, "Bad luck!"
With a "whoosh," the curtains were drawn shut, shutting out the night view of Illumi and Zaban City.
I rolled onto the bed and turned off the bedside lamp.
Night was falling.
After a fierce battle with Botobai, they quietly escalated their strategy once again.
Physical and mental exhaustion washed over him like a tide. Soon after, Roy told Little Gold to wake him up if anything happened, and then drifted off to sleep.
The familiar feeling of falling washed over me...
Beneath your feet lies a vibrant, Dream Passage; beyond it lies the azure "Sea of Cognition."
Roy rolled up his trousers and, as usual, stepped into the shallow water, letting the waves wash over his body. He slowly approached the "Gate of Demon Slayer," and before leaving, glanced at the "Gate of the Dark Continent" standing to the side.
The pitch-black door was etched with intricate and ancient patterns. A lock firmly sealed off the world behind it, as if a "Curse" had bound his life, desperately awaiting Roy's "breakthrough"!
The Sun-Earring Boy stood silently before the door for a long time before turning around and pushing open the door to Demon Slayer.
Two days later, when Roy opened his eyes again, he found himself in a field of Wisteria...
Demon fear only two things: the sun and these Wisteria.
Mount Fujikasane serves as the Final Selection site for the Demon Slayer Corps because its mountainsides are covered in Wisteria, which confine Demon of all sizes, allowing the candidates to either "hunt" or "be hunted"!
Roy picked a cluster of Wisteria, held them to his nose, and inhaled their sweet fragrance, which shimmered with a soft purple light... He then rubbed them together, and the petals fell, swirling in the wind and drifting away...
That was the final entrance to the selection process, with stone steps leading directly to the shrine at the summit.
Roy Asauchi in her hand, the earrings depicting the sun and mountains, and ascended the steps unhurriedly, each step a Transformation in its own way... As her thoughts drifted, faces flashed through her mind: some were Makomo, some were Seito, some were Shinsuke, Fukuda, Watanabe, Shimizu...
In a moment of distraction, [Deception] was activated, and within a few breaths, the person stood atop the mountain. Looking up, they saw two "pillars" on either side and a frail-looking man with light-colored eyes in the middle...
The Sun-Earring Boy paused, expressionless, then continued walking. One step, he became Watanabe; two steps, Shimizu; three steps, Fukuda; four steps, Shinsuke...
He Transformation step by step, carrying the expectations of his fellow students and their "last wishes" as he walked towards the Ubuyashiki Kagaya.
Amidst the splashing gasps... the horrified gazes... and the raging night wind...
He transformed into Yagiku... into Makomo... into Sabito... into Urokodaki Sakonji... until he reached Ubuyashiki Kagaya's side, within three meters, and reverted to his original appearance, smiling as he greeted Giyu Tomioka: "Good evening, Giyu- senpai."
Giyu Tomioka stared intently at the Sun-Earring Boy. In just two days, he had done something so shocking... He hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say, before finally raising his chin slightly and nodding to Roy.
"Namo Amitabha Buddha," Himejima Gyomei uttered a Buddhist chant, his large hand moving the prayer beads. He had almost... raised his fist, as big as a bowl, and struck Roy... Each step a Transformation; besides "Blood Demon Art," Himejima Gyomei couldn't think of any other possibility...
Only when they got closer did they realize there was no "ghostly" scent on the Sun-Earring Boy, and given that they were in the Mount Fujikasane, surrounded by fields of Wisteria, they stopped in time...
"Eiichiro, good boy, you are even more outstanding than your master and senior brothers said."
"Eiichiro, this is our Master."
"Nice to meet you, Kamado Eiichiro."
Roy, neither humble nor arrogant, extended his right hand toward Giyu Tomioka had regained his Ubuyashiki Kagaya, at her prompting.
Giyu Tomioka Himejima Gyomei, carefully "sizing up" the Sun-Earring Boy... The great monk's "Breathing Style" was highly skilled; he could perceive only... equal respect in Roy's words and actions through "sensory perception," without a trace of worship or awe for the Shiki clan.
"You didn't come here to join the Demon Slayer Corps..." Himejima Gyomei said in a low voice.
Roy glanced at him and said frankly, "That's right, I've come here solely to avenge my fellow disciples."
"And then?" Himejima Gyomei paused, his large hand that had been moving the prayer beads still, and said bluntly, "You won't obey the Master's orders."
Roy noticed that Ubuyashiki Kagaya was staring at his outstretched right hand in deep thought, and truthfully replied, "I have never been anyone's subordinate, not in the past, not now, and certainly not in the future."
After speaking, the Sun-Earring Boy completely ignored Himejima Gyomei and quietly watched the Ubuyashiki Kagaya...
This man, who was willing to use his own family as bait to lure Muzan into a trap, deserves respect. But to expect him to grovel before him and obey his orders... sorry, the Zoldyck's knees are made of iron; they can't bend.
"My Master." Himejima Gyomei his head to look at the Ubuyashiki Kagaya...
Giyu Tomioka remained silent and also looked at Ubuyashiki Kagaya...
The candidates who came to participate in the selection were all bewildered but impressed, and they all looked at the Ubuyashiki Kagaya...
The man snapped out of his reverie and looked gently at the Sun-Earring Boy, saying, "You'll keep killing demons, right?"
"Yes, but not forever," Roy said calmly. "Eradication is the ultimate goal. I'm here for only one purpose: to kill all the Demon in the world, including..."
"Muzan Kibutsuji."
After he died, there were naturally no ghosts to kill.
Ubuyashiki Kagaya's eyes flickered, and he reached out to shake hands with Roy, smiling as he said, "Okay."
Without further ado...
He turned to Amane, holding out a scroll, and said, "This is what you wanted... all the information the Demon Slayer Corps has gathered about Demon in recent years. I hope it will be useful to you."
"No rush." Roy drew his sword but didn't parry. Instead, he turned and disappeared into the "Demon Pool" where he was being kept. "I'll catch it when I return from slaying the ghosts."
The longsword was drawn, transforming into a "Bright Red Nichirin Sword" in a second, and bursting forth with raging flames in two seconds. As the Sun-Earring Boy twirled the sword, it illuminated the pitch-black night.
