The onlookers were confused but impressed, having just seen a ninja with a gaping hole in his body whom no one else could save, and who had even been kicked out of the hospital.

Yet, the young man before them had saved the person in the blink of an eye.

The crowd clicked their tongues in amazement.

Watanabe Masa, watching the wounded man being carried back in, had just been about to say that if he was dead, they should just send him to the morgue.

But he discovered that the wound had actually healed as if it were brand new!

The skin where the wound had been even looked better than before.

He was so stunned he stood there in a daze, unable to believe that Kimura Takuya had actually cured such an injury.

His expression shifted, as if he had swallowed a dozen flies.

He wanted to ask how it was done, but Kimura Takuya completely ignored him, acting as if he didn't even exist.

With such a commotion at the hospital, Hiruzen Sarutobi, who was listening to an Anbu operative report on a mission, naturally sensed it.

Before long, another Anbu arrived to report.

"Third Hokage, over at the hospital..."

"Oh? A newly graduated genin borrowed someone else's chakra to use a ninjutsu that instantly heals massive wounds. Kimura Takuya, was it? I have an impression of him."

In the original story, as long as the Third Hokage was alive, Danzo could never stir up any real trouble.

Many of Danzo's actions were tacitly approved by the Third Hokage.

Otherwise, as the shadow of Konoha, why would the Hokage permit him to establish Root?

On what grounds?

On the strength of the Sharingan on his arm?

The Third Hokage naturally knew about the situation with his arm; as an old comrade, how could the Hokage not know what was going on with his arm, which was sealed year-round?

She spread the documents in her hand out before Yakumo's eyes.

Yakumo looked at the figure in the photo: black hair and black eyes, a clean and sharp haircut, and deep, dark pupils, though his complexion was just as pale as her own.

Could this boy really heal her body? He looked sickly himself; would it really be okay?

Yakumo voiced her concerns to Kurenai Yuhi.

Kurenai Yuhi smiled, took Yakumo's hand, and began walking out of the Hokage Building.

"It will be fine. Someone who can be valued so highly by Lord Third will surely be able to heal you. Let's go meet him quickly."

Kurenai Yuhi was naturally quite expectant and held in high regard anyone the Third would place on the same level as Yakumo.

With that, the two headed toward the Konoha Hospital.

The injured female ninja had awakened, looking at her teammates beside the hospital bed.

She could hardly believe she was still alive.

And on the bed next to her.

Kimura Takuya had occupied a bed by the window, sleeping soundly.

Upon learning that it was Kimura Takuya who had saved her, she tried to get up to express her gratitude.
