Root's death torture continued for an entire day.

Hundreds of rounds of death torture hadn't made Danzo mentally collapse. In fact, they had made his soul grow stronger.

In recent days, to deal with public opinion and the Anbu, Danzo had summoned most of Root's members back to his side.
