Enhanced Ninjutsu

"Damn it, this brat's Substitution Technique is too bizarre." Clearly, the several ninjas had been prepared to ambush Yang Xing the moment he dodged, but they never expected that Yang Xing, who should have been within a five-meter range, would suddenly flash over ten meters away, leaping from the mid-air terrain to the top of a towering tree branch.

This left the several genin from the Land of Earth, who had already readied their ninjutsu, feeling both furious and resentful.

Yang Xing stood on the branch, swept his gaze over the now-invisible Kakashi and the others, then turned his head back to face the ninjas, performing a simple jutsu: "Oh, they've all run far enough. Very good. Now then. Water Style: Water Clone Technique."

"Charge! Take this brat down, and don't let those guys ahead get away either." Being toyed with by a brat left the ninjas stunned. As elites, how could they admit defeat? Their anger flared, and they rushed toward Yang Xing in a pincer formation.

"Water Style: Water Clone Technique." The three Yang Xings used the jutsu once more.

Clone after clone appeared, until there were twelve in total.

"What is this brat doing? He actually wants to fight us with this kind of jutsu? He must have a death wish."

Clones divide the chakra within each body, causing a reduction in one's own chakra; this was basic knowledge.

Facing the several men surging forward with murderous intent, Yang Xing, hidden among his clones, counted his numbers. Seeming to disregard the murderous ninjas before him, he muttered to himself: "Twelve clones is a bit much, but that's fine! My chakra is just enough."

"What the hell are you babbling about? Don't think you're escaping from here. I don't know how you learned that kind of jutsu, but let me tell you, you're dying right here today, you little brat." With a punch, he smashed one of the clones. As a special chunin of the Land of Earth, he was exceptionally enraged; if he could, he would have torn the brat before him limb from limb.

The five ninjas showed no mercy. In an instant, they disposed of three clones and were about to press forward when they noticed several clones simultaneously adjusting their positions and performing a single gesture, which made the ninjas pause.

"Fire Style!"

Under the counter-encirclement, the clones formed seals, launching a high-damage Fire Style ninjutsu at such close range.

"Huh? What are you doing? Are you crazy? Are you looking for death?" A chunin laughed, his smile wide, his hands moving with fluid grace as he formed seals: "Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall!"

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"

Accompanied by several towering walls rising from the ground, the sword-shaped flames from Yang Xing's mouth transformed into a massive fireball, crashing directly into them.

"This brat is wasting his own chakra." Hearing the sound of the explosion and glancing around at the firmly sealed earth walls, a Land of Earth chunin sneered. His mocking smile was intense; he didn't even bother to check the state of the earth walls, instead raising a hand to the three genin: "Wait for the flames to finish exploding, then I'll charge out first and finish that brat immediately. You lot don't linger either; catch up to those three ahead at once. You must not let them return to Konoha."

"Yes!" the three genin nodded.

They focused their attention, waiting for the fire to dissipate so they could rush out and tear Yang Xing apart.

Unfortunately, one man's face turned pale. His shifting expression caused the others' faces to change as well.

"Hey, Xiao, what's wrong?" Looking at the special chunin who had activated the Earth Flow Wall, his companion asked with equal confusion: "Your expression doesn't look right."

Seeming terrified of something, the chunin's forehead was covered in sweat: "This guy's ninjutsu is strange. It feels like my jutsu can't hold it."

The man paused, unable to stop himself from shouting: "That's impossible! Your Earth Flow Wall was praised by the Tsuchikage himself. It's a perfect jutsu comparable to that of a jonin."

"No, it's really not holding! This brat is problematic, far too problematic." Clearly, the pale-faced man's lips began to tremble, his body swaying unsteadily. He stood up, sensed something, and his expression shifted as he shouted at his companions: "Wait, don't just stand there! Run, quickly!"

"What?"

BOOM! CRASH!

Before the words had even faded, and before the others could react, the massive Earth Flow Wall was shattered.

And what was presented before them...

This wasn't any Great Fireball Technique; this was an S-rank jutsu!

A normal Great Fireball was only the size of a house, but this was nearly twice that size, and several clones were launching this terrifying jutsu one after another. This was an S-rank jutsu!

The area for a hundred meters around was engulfed by the fireballs launched by his clones.

This was simply unscientific!

The ninjas were on the verge of cursing, but unfortunately, they would never have the chance.

BOOM!

The earth-shaking explosion ended, accompanied by countless birds fleeing the forest.

Following that came a faint sound in Yang Xing's ear.

"Phew, so tired. My chakra is completely drained." Looking at the scorched earth ahead and the empty space where nothing remained but ash, Yang Xing wiped the sweat from his forehead. He turned and leaped away into the distance without a hint of hesitation.

Although he wanted to see the attributes of the titles he had gained, it was clear that he couldn't stay in this area any longer, lest more companions arrive. If another genin showed up, he would struggle even to run away with zero chakra left.

In the forest, the young men and women traveling through it wore varied expressions.

"Hey, Kakashi, are we really going to run like this? Are we really going to leave that guy behind?" Obito's face was filled with grief and indignation at his inability to rush back: "That guy, that guy is..."

"Shut up. Once we pass this point, we'll be safe. Keep your eyes on the path ahead." Kakashi's cold, abrupt words left Obito unable to utter a single syllable.

Rin Nohara's face was equally dim. She glanced behind her, her large eyes filled with guilt: "It's all because of me that Yang Xing..."

"He will be fine. That guy... you saw him too. Even the Fourth Hokage acknowledged him. He can't possibly be in trouble." Kakashi gritted his teeth as he spoke, the words sounding as if he were trying to convince himself. When he landed on a nearby branch, he stared straight behind them: "Alright, this is as far as you go. You should be safe now. I'm going back to check. Don't follow me. If I don't return in half an hour, leave this place immediately."

"No, I..."

"Rin, Yang Xing did this for you."

"What do you mean?"

Without further explanation, Kakashi left, leaving only a stunned Rin Nohara standing in place.
