Yang Xing is an orphan whose parents died during the Second Shinobi World War. Though physically eleven, he possesses the mindset of someone in his twenties and finds it difficult to relate to other academy children. After spending more than a year in the world with poor chakra control and uniformly low attributes, his phone awakens as the Strife Game system. 1 2

Dismissive of the Hokage title, Yang Xing openly states that his goal is to conquer the world. His classmates ridicule both this ambition and his weak chakra, but he remains indifferent to their judgment. 1 2

Before graduating, his only reliable combat skill is throwing weapons. He trains in shuriken and kunai techniques, teaches basic throwing practice to Uchiha Itachi, and eventually joins Minato Namikaze's team alongside Kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and Rin Nohara. 3 4 5
