The Buster Call Was Activated!

"Cough, cough!" Lucci spat out a mouthful of blood. Unable to stay airborne, he plummeted to the ground.

Memories of his past flashed through his mind. It was the familiar rush of memories before death.

Looking into Lucci's eyes, Lu Zhuo slowly shook his head. Even if this world is real, and all of you have souls, so what?

I may have set this up, but the real reason is that you tried to capture Robin. Who else can you blame?

With Spandam as their superior, CP9 would have been wiped out by someone else sooner or later, even if I hadn't done it—or Luffy hadn't!

Lu Zhuo paid Lucci no more attention. At a thought, Zhankong beneath his feet sensed his will and carried him away like a streak of swordlight.

Now that he could fly on a sword, Lu Zhuo couldn't be bothered to use Geppo, which drained his stamina. He had improved it again, and it was now almost on par with the orthodox version of the Six Powers.

Besides, flying on a sword was incredibly cool. It was probably a dream for countless people on Earth, and he'd just made it come true.

Lu Zhuo smiled faintly and released his Observation Haki.

But the next moment, his expression darkened. He barked, "Spandam, you're asking for death!"

Deep inside Enies Lobby, Spandam dragged Robin along in a fit of panic, running toward the Gates of Justice.

"Damn it! Those pirate bastards actually dared to attack Enies Lobby! They think they can do whatever they want!" Spandam roared. He had sealed off all news, though, and was already prepared to abandon Enies Lobby to secure his promotion.

As long as he got Robin through the Gates of Justice, he would have succeeded!

Robin had been fitted with Seastone Handcuffs. Her body was weak and powerless, so she could only let Spandam drag her along.

But Lu Zhuo and the others had arrived so quickly that Spandam hadn't had time to torture Robin. As soon as he took custody of her, he had rushed straight for the Gates of Justice.

Nami and Luo's Observation Haki was far weaker than Lu Zhuo's, so they could only search the inside of Enies Lobby.

Nami happened to run into Kalifa, who had delivered Robin and was heading back to stop Lu Zhuo. The two women clashed, and the fight was on.

Kalifa hadn't been a match for Nami in the original story, and now she stood even less of a chance. Lu Zhuo glanced over and paid them no further attention. He and Zhankong became a streak of light, speeding toward the Gates of Justice.

As Spandam dragged Robin along, she stared at him coldly, as though she were looking at a dead man.

"You're finished! I don't know why you captured me, but you've angered the captain of the Holy Sword Pirates. You're dead!"

Robin kept taunting him, trying to throw him off.

Spandam was already a nervous wreck, and Robin's words only made things worse. They were almost at the Gates of Justice when he suddenly let go of her, his face twisted with violent fury.

"Damn woman! Say one more word and see what happens!"

Robin sneered inwardly. This was exactly what she'd been waiting for. She stared coldly at Spandam and said, "You... are dead."

"Damn you!" Spandam roared, raising his hand to strike Robin. He didn't care that she was only trying to stall him, showing just how disgraceful a superior of CP9 he was.

Just as Spandam's hand was about to slap Robin across the face, an angry shout from far away made him flinch.

"Touch her, and I'll tear you to pieces!"

At the familiar words, Robin's grim expression blossomed into a warm smile.

Spandam saw a streak of light flying toward him in the distance and nearly fainted from terror. He hurriedly grabbed Robin again and shouted frantically at the nearby Marines, "Quick! I order you to stop him!"

The Marines saw the streak of light cutting across the sky and were already stunned. How could they obey Spandam's order?

Then they remembered that even CP9 had failed to stop that man, and that he had once fought a Marine Admiral. Their morale crumbled, and they dropped their weapons and fled.

In the next instant, Lu Zhuo appeared in front of Spandam, his expression dark as he stared at him.

Spandam's face turned ashen as terror gripped him.

He couldn't help regretting his decision to suppress the news. If he hadn't, perhaps Marine Headquarters would have sent reinforcements. He might not have gotten all the credit, but at least his mission wouldn't have failed, and he wouldn't be about to lose his life.

Any one of those Marine Admirals could have taken out that bastard in front of him!

Spandam had already forgotten the news that the Holy Sword Pirates had escaped Aokiji unscathed. Perhaps he hadn't believed it in the first place.

But when he thought of the Marine Admirals, a glimmer suddenly appeared in his eyes.

"You pirate bastard! I've got a Buster Call in my hands! You hear me? If you don't get out of my way, I'll press this Golden Den Den Mushi!" Spandam hastily pulled out a golden Den Den Mushi, making both Lu Zhuo and Robin change their expressions.

Of course, Lu Zhuo's expression was only a little unnatural because his plan had succeeded.

Robin, on the other hand, turned deathly pale.

"Lu Zhuo, don't let that man activate the Buster Call! Kill him with one strike!" Robin cried out in alarm. Since they had already attacked Enies Lobby, killing a CP9 superior was no big deal. But once the Buster Call was activated, the entire island would be destroyed!

The terrible power of that Buster Call, which could wipe out an entire island, had left a wound in Robin's heart that had never healed.

At that moment, Lu Zhuo could have drawn his sword and killed Spandam instantly, preventing him from activating the Buster Call.

But that was exactly what Lu Zhuo wanted. Why would he ruin his own plan?

Lu Zhuo slowly drew his sword, its blade glimmering with powerful sword energy.

Spandam saw this and a flash of panic crossed his face. His hand suddenly trembled, and he pressed the Golden Den Den Mushi!

An alarm rang out at Marine Headquarters.

"It's Aokiji's Buster Call! The target is Enies Lobby!"

"Immediately summon the five nearest Vice Admirals and ten warships!"

Marine Headquarters was thrown into chaos. Even Sengoku, the Fleet Admiral, was alerted.

"A Buster Call... The target is Enies Lobby?!" Sengoku rubbed his forehead and pondered.

Because Spandam had suppressed the news, Marine Headquarters had no idea what was happening there.

But Sengoku frowned as he considered the situation. Then he slammed his hand on the desk.

"Damn it!"

"The Holy Sword Pirates should be passing by Enies Lobby. Could it be...?" At the thought, Sengoku flew into a rage and smashed the desk in front of him to pieces.

"That damn bastard Spandam got what he deserved! Someone, tell Aokiji to hurry to Enies Lobby! No, better send Kizaru. He's faster." Sengoku slumped onto the sofa, holding his forehead with a look of utter frustration.

He hoped they would make it in time.

Meanwhile, Robin's eyes filled with terror as she sank to the ground. Horrifying memories from her childhood flooded her mind.

Lu Zhuo's sword slid smoothly from its sheath and cut off Spandam's head. With a second stroke, he cut through Robin's Seastone Handcuffs.

But Robin was still weak and limp, slumped on the ground with fear in her eyes.

Lu Zhuo walked over and sat beside her, gently putting an arm around her shoulders.

"It's just a Buster Call. I'll show you how to destroy one!"
