The Takigakure Two Ghosts looked pleased with themselves, as if their scheme had succeeded, and couldn't help laughing.

But their laughter lasted barely a second before it abruptly stopped.

"Where's that brat called Qingyun!?" The two searched left and right, but couldn't find him.

The next moment, Qingyun appeared behind them in a flash.

"Electric Discharge!" Without another word, Qingyun unleashed his lightning. The high-voltage current instantly sent waves of numbness through the two ghosts' bodies.

"What an incredible Body Flicker Technique!?" The two ghosts reacted quickly, too. The moment they sensed danger, they somersaulted backward several times, barely evading Qingyun's lightning.

"Crackle, crackle!" Just then, the two ghosts heard the sound of Explosive Tags igniting. They looked down and saw a ring of tags surrounding their feet.

"Get out of the way!" The two ghosts were shocked. They hadn't expected Qingyun to predict where they would dodge in advance and conceal the Explosive Tags with the Camouflage Technique.

"Boom!" The tags exploded in an instant. No matter how quickly the two ghosts reacted, they couldn't completely escape the blast. Qingyun had planned it all out in advance.

The two ghosts collapsed to the ground, smoke rising from their bodies. It was clear they had been badly injured. Even if they could still fight, their strength would be greatly diminished.

"Damn it! I can't believe he took control of the fight right from the start!"

"He planned this all in advance!?" The Takigakure Two Ghosts had completely dropped their contempt for Qingyun.

Beside him, Hyuga Xinghuo stood with his mouth hanging open.

"Is this guy really only a few years old? His combat instincts are absolutely on par with a jonin!" Hyuga Xinghuo composed herself and said, "Don't let those two get away. They have to pay!"

"Of course. But making them pay won't be as easy as you think." As soon as Qingyun finished speaking, he saw one of the Takigakure Two Ghosts disappear, only to reappear attached to the other's body.

"What!?" Hyuga Xinghuo felt like she was surrounded by monsters. None of this made any sense.

"Our true ability is to become one! Our strength increases tenfold when we combine!"

"You're only the second people to force us to use this technique!"

"And who was the first?" Hyuga Xinghuo asked at once.

"You'll be reunited with them in hell!" After the two ghosts merged, their bodies changed as well. Calling them the Second Ghosts no longer seemed appropriate. The Takigakure Ghost King was a better name.

There are all kinds of secret techniques and people with special abilities in the Shinobi World, as well as Kekkei Genkai. Their ability isn't all that unusual! Qingyun thought. You want to talk about unusual? Do you have a Devil Fruit System? Give me a break!

"Gyahahaha! You're all going to die!" The Ghost King charged at Hyuga Xinghuo at incredible speed. After all, you picked on the weak, and in their eyes, Qingyun had already become far too formidable.

"Rotation!" Hyuga Xinghuo wasn't helpless either. She immediately spun around, chakra forming a protective barrier that shielded her from physical attacks.

However, Qingyun could clearly see that Hyuga Xinghuo was running out of strength. Before long, her Rotation came to a stop.

"Die! Hahaha! Ghost King Cannon!" The Ghost King opened his mouth, gathering chakra there before firing a blast.

Qingyun could tell that if Hyuga Xinghuo took that attack head-on, she'd be obliterated.

Do I save her or not? Qingyun quickly made his choice.

"Earth Release: Earth Style: Earth Wall!" Qingyun used a defensive Earth Release technique. Though it couldn't stop the Ghost King Cannon, it bought him enough time to teleport beside Hyuga Xinghuo and rescue her.

However, the gale stirred up by the Ghost King Cannon still blew away the ribbon tying up Hyuga Xinghuo's hair.

Her hair fell loose around her shoulders.

Qingyun stared in shock. Taking another look at Hyuga Xinghuo's delicate features, he suddenly understood everything.

"Are you seriously a girl!?" Qingyun blurted out.

"Watch out! Another attack!" Hyuga Xinghuo didn't deny it. She suddenly saw the Ghost King Cannon charging toward Qingyun again. Without hesitation, Qingyun kept his arms around Hyuga Xinghuo and teleported them to the other side.

By then, Minato and Yoshihime had arrived as well.

"Are we under attack?"

"Do you need help? What's going on?" Minato and Yoshihime looked at each other and asked.

Qingyun shook his head. "This girl from the Hyuga Clan is an ally. The one over there took a job to kill me. I can't believe he's a jonin and still hid his strength so well. What a shameless bastard."

Minato looked at Qingyun and thought, Who could possibly be better at hiding his strength than you?

"Leave this to me! Just keep her safe!" Qingyun stepped in front of everyone, carrying himself with such confidence that he had an inexplicable air of leadership.

"That blond ninja! He looks like the second target! You're all going to die, too! Take this—my strongest attack! Ghost King Cannon Max!" The Takigakure ninja gathered all the chakra in his body and unleashed it at Qingyun.

Just as the enormous shockwave was about to take Qingyun out, he roared, "Lightning Flame Soaring Dragon Blast!"

Qingyun had already made a Shadow Clone as a precaution.

He and his clone unleashed Lightning Release, Fire Release, and Wind Release at the same time. The terrifying combined technique was even more powerful, crashing into the Ghost King Cannon.

In an instant, a gale swept through the entire Konoha Forest. A huge crater appeared where the two attacks collided.

Qingyun wiped the sweat from his forehead. Minato and the others couldn't find any trace of the Takigakure ninja's bodies.

Qingyun had wiped out the Takigakure Two Ghosts with a single strike. He later learned that the two were among Takigakure's few elite jonin. Though they were powerful and exceptionally talented, they were vile people.

In a way, Qingyun had rid the world of two evildoers.

"Th-that's it? It's over?" Everyone was dumbstruck. Their opponents had just been making a grand show of their attack and shouting threats. And now? There wasn't even a scrap left of them.

Yoshihime and Minato had already grown accustomed to Qingyun's strength. They seemed to take it for granted that he could do anything.

But Hyuga Xinghuo didn't know Qingyun nearly as well. Now she understood just how terrifying this young boy was!

"Hyuga Xinghuo, what are you planning to do now?" Qingyun asked bluntly.

With their common enemy gone, Qingyun wanted to know what Hyuga Xinghuo, a girl from the Hyuga Branch Family, planned to do.

Hyuga Xinghuo found a ninja tool pouch on the ground and pulled a scroll from it. She was about to toss it to Qingyun when he immediately stopped her.

"Sorry, but we already have a scroll." Qingyun showed her the one he had.
