"How much do we know about the enemy?"
After discussing the Astra Militarum, Lion brought up another, more important military matter.
Adam snapped his fingers, and the tactical table immediately displayed what they needed to know—the enemy's information in an intuitive format.
All of it came from the Celestial Engine.
This symbol of the Tyran Sector's void military forces, the spiritual totem of military enthusiasts across the sector, an unimaginably miraculous feat of engineering, had not remained stagnant over the years.
Besides the existing Solar Engine and Planetary Engine, the Celestial Engine now possessed four additional artificial planets, along with the satellites those four artificial planets required.
There was the Insight Engine, covered in information-detection arrays. The three artificial satellites orbiting it were filled with signal amplification devices, used to send detection waves hundreds and thousands of light-years away.
There was the super FTL Engine, standing amid hundreds of FTL field generators as massive as mountain ranges. There was also a Logistics World dedicated to supplying the navy and army, as well as a Substance Engine capable of directly manipulating certain physical laws like a C'tan.
The two original Star God fragments were now confined together inside the Solar Engine, providing energy for the entire Celestial Engine system. After all, the technology for harnessing the energy of Star God fragments had advanced rapidly over the years.
The ever-operating Insight Engine released directional detection waves spanning thousands of light-years. If those waves were not distorted and concealed by the Substance Engine, merely passing near a fleet would be enough to kill every carbon-based lifeform within it.
How many worlds lay along the path of those detection waves, how many resources and how much population those worlds possessed—this immense wealth of information, from the macroscopic to the microscopic, could all be collected
