"Orphus Sector doesn't lack supplies at all!"

"A transport fleet takes a long time to make a round trip. If other parts of the front come under attack during that process and supplies are rapidly depleted... if all the supplies are sent to Orphus, what will the other regions use?"

"Why haven't you looked into this? I thought you were on Terra personally handling every matter related to this war!"

Lion roared at Guilliman like a beast, slamming his hand onto the Adamantium desk before him hard enough to make it hum.

Guilliman gestured for Lion to calm down. "My fault. You know the Ultramarines have grown several times larger since they were reorganized into a legion. I had to return to Ultramar to deal with legion affairs. I'll do everything I can to solve this problem."

Guilliman's promises were always fulfilled, and Lion gradually calmed down.

The reason he had lost his temper was that the war was still at the stage of waiting for the enemy to make a move. If the Necrons had intelligence on the human side, they would surely choose to strike war zones that could not wait for the next supply transport fleet to arrive.

As Lion had told Guilliman, if Orphus Sector was not the one attacked, other war zones might suffer rapid supply consumption after coming under attack and could very well find themselves short on provisions.
