An opening was torn into the incomparably sturdy dimensional space within the primary dimension of the Real Universe. On Baron Prime, directly before the Void Dragon, a Hypercube Maze slowly floated out.

This Hypercube Maze was not the miniature kind no bigger than a fist. It was an enormous one, resembling an Obelisk.

That meant what was imprisoned within the Hypercube Maze was no ordinary Star God fragment.

The Void Dragon watched the Hypercube Maze before it. It hovered in place, silently observing.

Once the Hypercube Maze had completely emerged from that other sturdy dimensional space, it came to a halt. All manner of intricate components around it—complex enough to make the Imperium's Adeptus Mechanicus spray oil—began operating on their own.

The shell of the enormous Hypercube Maze opened piece by piece, revealing the C'tan bound within by an energy field.

A purple C'tan appeared on the battlefield, one so strange that even the Void Dragon had no idea who it was.

It possessed the fiery traits of the Burner, as well as the Burner's madness and volatility.

It carried the scythe-shaped weapon favored by the Nightbringer, and its eyes radiated terrifying coldness and savagery.

Even its form occasionally changed.

It was a complete hodgepodge.

Only then did the Void Dragon recall that the Necrons possessed such a C'tan, known as the Supreme Star God.

The so-called Supreme Star God did not refer to a king or ruler among the C'tan species, nor did the word "Supreme" mean it held an exceptionally exalted status.

After all, for a species whose internal organization and unity were worse than those of a Hive City gang, it was generally impossible for them to have any boss or king, barring the unexpected.
