The ship passed by several planets that had been extremely severely affected by the Warp.
Without exception, strange phenomena had appeared on those planets. Upon drawing close, they discovered that some of them were not even planets at all.
Vast numbers of daemons ran through the "void," surging toward the outside of the Eye of Terror.
The ship was like a small boat, while the daemons were like large fish in a river. Schools of fish swam past the little boat from above, below, and all sides. The laws of physics in the Real Universe meant nothing to them or to this environment.
"Some force is drawing them," the Emperor's Psychic projection suddenly said. "If something were not pulling them along, they would have already rushed out of the Eye of Terror."
"What force?" Qin Mo asked.
The Emperor still shook his head.
He could not sense it.
"The best means of dealing with daemons is Psychic Power, though Psychic Power cannot erase them forever." The Emperor's true body, far away on Terra, sent a Psychic communication to Magnus from two months earlier. "Magnus and his legion are already standing guard outside the Eye of Terror. If the daemons surge out, they will be intercepted."
Qin Mo nodded.
The ship continued onward.
Qin Mo felt that his eyes could not make sense of some of the environments within the Eye of Terror, and his senses had become less sharp as well. At times, he felt the ship was moving backward; at others, he felt it rise into the air before falling again.
Then, within a few breaths, the ship suddenly came to a complete stop, having reached its destination.
The immense warship lay near the destination like a small boat moored at the shore.
