"Even if it couldn't be used as a shield, it would still be nice as a memorial." Qin Mo stopped dwelling on the blocks of ashes and turned to something more important.

Designing warships.

In Qin Mo's vision, if they faced fleet battles in the future, they would only have two types of warships for the time being: frigates and cruisers.

The Tyran System had a fleet, but it was weak, consisting of only one Moon-class Cruiser and three Sword-class Frigates.

Qin Mo could therefore fully accept the possibility that all of those ships would be corrupted, and he was absolutely confident he could deal with them.

Whether cruisers or frigates, all self-designed warships would primarily use energy weapons.

They also would not have Gellar Fields or Void Shields.

The reason was that warships using Dimension Engines for interstellar travel would not enter the Warp and would not need Gellar Fields. In place of a Gellar Field, they would use an enormous protection device designed for infantry teleportation. It would generate a barrier during transit, ensuring that neither the warship nor the bodies and souls of those aboard it would be torn apart in the Dimensional Channel. That would be enough.

He would not use Void Shields because Qin Mo simply did not get along with the Warp. In their place would be a one-way energy barrier capable of intercepting external fire while still allowing their own attacks to be fired from within. Nor could this shield be passed through by slow-moving objects.

Warships at cruiser class and above would serve as the main source of firepower. Aside from their basic weapons, they would mount a Particle Lance directly at the bow, allowing them to inflict sustained damage on enemy ships from extreme range.

Frigates would be responsible for intercepting
