When the Chogoris Eagle questioned his sons, every White Scar Space Marine removed his helmet and dropped to one knee.

"We came precisely to find you," Chen Ye confessed. "We searched every Webway route in Commorragh until we found you. That was why we accidentally entered this Webway passage."

"Rise." Chagatai raised a hand.

The White Scar warriors immediately stood.

Although Chen Ye still had far too much left unsaid, the wise Primarch only needed a few glances, combined with what he already knew, to infer the full picture.

Though he was inside an abandoned Webway passage, Chagatai had still found a way to observe the outside world. He saw that all of Commorragh was burning.

Clearly, an army as skilled in Webway technology as the Dark Eldar was attacking this place.

And these warriors had clearly seen this as an opportunity to find their Primarch, so they had come along.

After some thought, Chagatai brought up someone else. "I saw that it was not only you who entered this Webway passage. There was also the Aeldari who guided you here. Where is she now?"

"She and her people were hit by some strange weapon and kept retreating toward the exit. They have probably fled by now," Chen Ye guessed.

Chagatai nodded, then turned and walked toward a corner. He picked up a tiny device made of Wraithbone and pressed it to his forehead.

Then, as though he stood beside the person in another place, he saw with his own eyes the situation of the one he sought.
