"So easy?"

"What's so easy?"

"Nothing."

Faced with Bandis's baffled question about what was so easy, Guilliman gently shook his head.

The reason he had remarked that it was "so easy" was that, after Horus returned to the clone Primarchs and announced that the Primarchs would continue fighting as new Thunder Warriors, everyone began discussing whether Commander Bandis would be willing to share power with others.

Clone Primarchs were still Primarchs. They could not possibly serve as ordinary soldiers; that would be a terrible waste. Sooner or later, they would have to take on command or planning duties.

But that raised a problem.

Command over the current new Thunder Warriors belonged entirely to Bandis. Working with the Primarchs in the future would mean sharing that power.

Guilliman had voiced his concern.

Lion, who had happened to be present, said, "That new Thunder Warrior commander is obviously brainwashed by all sorts of grand principles—the bullshit about fighting for the Real Universe and humanity. He won't mind sharing power with us."

At the time, Guilliman had said Lion was making things sound too easy.

Yet after speaking with Bandis now, he found Lion had been half right. Bandis truly was willing to share power, because he believed it would benefit the great cause to which he was devoted.

As for the great cause Qin Mo had spoken of in the past—fighting the enemies of the Real Universe—Qin Mo absolutely believed his own words. Otherwise, why would a god help humanity instead of simply doing whatever he wanted?

At that thought, Guilliman suddenly said with feeling, "I suddenly can't wait to visit your sector."

"Not just you. Your original body as well." Bandis smiled and nodded.

The New Humanity could not possibly hold back the new Thunder Warriors through superior numbers alone.
