"This clone of mine has no obligation to command a Legion in the Great Crusade, nor do I need to answer to anyone. So at last, I can do something I've always wanted to do."

"To free Salvation Star, the homeworld that raised me, and the descendants of everyone there who once raised me, from the Imperium's brutal oppression."

Salvation Star.

The planet the Raven Guard Primarch Corvus regarded as his homeworld. He had once landed there and been raised by its oppressed workers.

He and Guilliman were the only two Primarchs who had female parental figures while growing up, and both of them held deep affection for those women.

Perturabo, who strangled his own sister to death, did not count.

Corvus led the people of Salvation Star in rebellion against their oppressors. Then the Emperor descended, and he went on to take part in the Great Crusade.

Guilliman knew Salvation Star was a knot in his friend's heart.

He also knew that one of his friend's sons had once said this: Let me tell you who my lord is. Corvus is the enemy
