Imperial Regent Roboute Guilliman was with Caldor.

While Guilliman bent over his writing, Caldor reported on the war and the affairs of the Chapter. His Primarch listened silently while multitasking, only occasionally giving Caldor instructions without looking up when a decision was required.

"The Tyran Sector is still handling logistics. Fortunately, they have done an excellent job. Not just the Ultramarines—even other Chapters and mortal forces have never enjoyed logistics this good. Everyone is very satisfied."

When Caldor mentioned logistics, Guilliman instinctively looked up toward the viewport.

Beyond it stood a black circular Construct, swallowing and disgorging vast numbers of Transport Fleets.

It was the Star Gate built specifically for the Golden Crusade. Fifty percent of its structure was made of Blackstone. Not only could it create within the Eye of Terror the spatial and temporal coordinates necessary for Star Gate travel, it could also suppress Warp influence across a certain area. It served several purposes at once.

"Logistics are the one thing I can rest assured about." Guilliman withdrew his gaze. "Even as we speak, at least a thousand Transport Ships are passing through the Star Gate to reach the fleet, delivering supplies into the colossal warehouse that is Autansa Ark World... If we still had supply problems under these circumstances, there would be no point in fighting at all."

"Thanks to the Lord of Tyran." Caldor nodded. "But I wonder how long their sector can sustain such enormous material consumption."

Hearing his son worry that the Tyran Sector might not be able to maintain this level of logistical supply for long, given the immense consumption every second, Guilliman merely looked at Caldor and slowly shook his head, entirely unconcerned.
