"I thought you'd look at me and say it," Qin Mo said, turning to the Emperor's projected Psychic Power image. "Psychic Power is incredible, isn't it?"

"I stopped using that old line twenty thousand years ago." The Emperor turned back to watch his clone offspring.

The clone Primarchs lingered for a while inside a warehouse-like structure.

Qin Mo possessed no Psychic Power, so he could not glean anything more from the Emperor's projected psychic image.

He did not know where the clone Primarchs were, nor which of the seven worlds along the Iron Ring Defense Line they had been sent to.

Perhaps the Emperor's human will had used Psychic Power to send them somewhere he considered the most testing ground. Or perhaps they had entered an illusion crafted by the Emperor, solely to subject their loyalty to the cruelest trial.

Or perhaps the Emperor was simply bored and wanted to watch the superhuman sons he had created embark on an adventure.

Even now, Qin Mo could not be certain that the Emperor intended to test them. Lately, he had found the Human Emperor's thoughts increasingly difficult to fathom... for reasons unknown...
