The Divine Machines strode across the land.
The Titan force's assault was ferocious and irresistible.
Lion withdrew his gaze from the Titans and looked toward the areas their battle line had advanced through. He ordered, "Deploy the Blackstone. Deploy Space Marines to guard it."
After issuing the order to protect the Blackstone, Lion began drawing up the list of Chapters that would join the battle.
It had actually been prepared before the war began, but Lion hesitated. He still wanted to make some adjustments.
The Ultramarines and Dark Angels, both their successor Chapters and parent Chapters, had naturally been indispensable on the original roster. But Lion now wanted to change his mind. He first sought Guilliman's opinion. "Why not send the Chapters that have newly joined the expedition into battle? We can simply assign our respective sons and successor Chapters."
