"Bones."

When Qin Mo focused as intently as he had when listening to his mother's stories as a child, the Emperor uttered only a vague word.

"A sister's bones, or a saint's bones?" Qin Mo's expression turned strange. "If I have to smear a sister's corpse fat on equipment as skincare like the Grey Knights, I'm afraid I don't have enough clout to ask the Ecclesiarchy for corpses."

"What corpse fat?" The Emperor frowned. "I mean bones imbued with a concept, like the Chainsword you use—something granted a special concept."

Qin Mo nodded seriously and gestured for the Emperor to continue.

"It was the remains of an utterly ordinary human, one who appeared shortly after humanity's birth."

The Emperor recalled the past.

"In a dangerous wilderness, two humans met. One had prey, the other had a stone. The latter thought for a moment, and the instant he smashed the former to death with that stone, many things could be born. If you could find that stone, you could gain an advantage in war."

"Something like that."

"Many, many years ago, before humanity had entered the tribal stage, two primitive humans were forced by the pressures of survival to work together."

"During a later hunt, one of them had his thigh torn off by a beast. He could no longer move."

"The other looked at his companion. He did not leave. He simply crouched there and watched, while his not particularly intelligent brain, deprived of sufficient protein, went through a bout of thought."

"In the end, he chose to crouch down, carry his injured companion back to their shelter, and keep feeding him until his wounds worsened and he died shortly afterward, after which he buried him."

By then, Qin Mo understood what the Emperor was trying to say.
