"I'm an Inquisitor operating in New Badab!"
"Just like several other places in the Imperium, jagged portals appeared there. Only now did I learn that they were entrances to the Webway!"
"When we entered, we found no enemies here either, just like you did. But later, we discovered that this was a trap from the very beginning!"

Qin Mo and Guilliman exchanged glances. Both found it strange.
It was not strange to enter the Webway and find no enemies. Nor was it strange to find people who had entered the Webway from elsewhere in the Imperium dead here.
Not everyone was entering the Eye of Terror for the first time. Qin Mo had lowered his expectations of what might happen here to the point where, even if he saw the Emperor and Horus beating each other up, he would only say, "Damn."
But seeing the Inquisitor's attitude now, the two of them found it odd.
"How could you present something we discovered long ago as some earth-shattering secret?" Guilliman turned around. "Do we look as though we do not know this place is a trap? The Inquisition's unauthorized investigation was proof that you fell for it. You were lured here and killed."
Guilliman had a more far-reaching suspicion regarding the corpses of the Inquisition and the Astartes. He believed that perhaps both the Inquisition and the Dark Angels had been misled before entering the Webway to die.
After all, Vashtorr had no reason to open Webway entrances outside the Eye of Terror, and there had been no reports of Vashtorr launching invasions elsewhere. That meant those entrances had simply been left there after being opened, waiting for others to investigate them. What else could they be but bait?
"No... no..." The Inquisitor frantically crawled
