Background / History

Qian Yuhan was the founding ancestor of the Martial Soul Hall. In its formative era, he personally united the offices of Pope, Chief Inquisitor, and Commander of the Angel Legion, establishing foundational rules for the organization. After drawing the Angel Holy Sword, he spent 120 years repeatedly exterminating evil across the Douluo Continent, creating an era in which ordinary people could live without fear of soul beasts or fallen soul masters. 1

A veteran of the God Realm, Qian Yuhan later returned to the Douluo Continent in the body of an eleven-year-old boy. He was dismayed by the later Martial Soul Hall's leadership and regarded several of its prominent figures as responsible for its decline. 1 2

While pursuing Evil Soul Masters in the Star Dou Great Forest, he encountered a mysterious gray sphere and suppressed it within his spiritual sea. The sphere is associated with the Rakshasa Phantom, a divine soul that becomes his constant companion. 1

Seeking his fourth soul ring, Qian Yuhan entered the forest's core-zone outskirts alone. He killed a Heaven-Shaking Hou and absorbed its ten-thousand-year ring, while the Rakshasa Phantom secured the Silver Hero Beast's ring through deception and manipulation. 3 4 6

After helping Xu Tianzhen eliminate the Zhongli brothers, Qian Yuhan accepted her invitation to travel to the Sun Moon Empire and combat its Evil Soul Masters. Emperor Xu Kun subsequently offered him protection and cultivation resources in exchange for his future service as the empire's Guardian Douluo; Qian Yuhan accepted the reciprocal obligations while postponing discussion of marriage to Xu Tianzhen. 18 20 23
