Background

The Rakshasa Phantom had been dormant in a coffin within the ruins of the Capital of Killing. Qian Yuhan entered the ruins seeking the Angel Holy Sword, found the Phantom's scythe stored alongside it, and forcibly brought the Phantom out when it escaped with him. 1

It subsequently became Qian Yuhan's detachable second martial soul and constant companion. Though it calls itself a god or a being closely connected to one, it currently exists as a spirit-like, semi-corporeal entity rather than a fully physical body. 1 3

Appearance

The Rakshasa Phantom usually manifests as an indistinct purple-black figure, often emerging from Qian Yuhan's shadow. Its form can appear humanoid, though its features are blurred and its gender is difficult to determine. 1

Personality

The Phantom is cheeky, boastful, impatient, and prone to provoking Qian Yuhan for amusement. It regularly offers bizarre metaphors, unsolicited advice, and teasing commentary, only to retreat into the shadows when ignored. 1 10 27 32

It is also deeply cruel toward Evil Soul Masters. Unlike Qian Yuhan, who distinguishes between irredeemable Evil Soul Masters and coerced accomplices, the Phantom initially favors killing everyone connected to them. It takes clear pleasure in terrorizing, torturing, and devouring the souls of its victims. 17 43

Despite this brutality, it trusts Qian Yuhan's judgment and works closely with him in combat, reconnaissance, and planning. It gradually voices approval when Qian Yuhan adopts harsher methods against those who refuse to repent. 2 43
