The Future of Two Races

After leaving the harbor and setting out for the Kenta Council, the Craftworld's preparations for the talks officially began.

When Qin Xa stepped out of the harbor facility, he saw a broad, perfectly straight road.

The road was fashioned from a pearly white material that gleamed beneath the light like moonlight.

White specks of light drifted continuously through the sky like falling leaves, resembling the confetti humans used during ceremonies.

On both sides of the road, crowds of Craftworld inhabitants were separated by lines of War Machines such as Wraithguard Dreadnoughts.

Craftworld infantry stood fully armed in a wall of bodies between the Wraithguard and the road, their weapons pointed upward and their postures rigid.

Wraithknights, War Machines resembling Knight Titans but with sleek, elegant lines, stood along the road's edge with their longswords raised toward the Craftworld sky.

Once Qin Xa stepped onto the road, the Wraithknights on both sides turned in unison and began accompanying him at a slow pace.

The Farseers from the various Craftworlds who had previously remained in the harbor, along with their attendants, followed Qin Xa out of the facility in orderly lines.

Above them, ships laden with ribbons and decorations hovered in the air.

From the beginning of the road outside the harbor facility to the entrance of the Kenta Craftworld Council over a hundred kilometers away, everything had been arranged with this same extravagant splendor.

The Eldar were few in number, after all, and they did not possess many War Machines like Wraithknights and Wraithguard, so they had lined up tanks and similar War Machines as part of the welcoming ceremony.
