New Tyranids

A month passed.

Qin Xa and Angron spent a month on Necromunda, figuring out what technology there was worth taking away.

Before the Imperium merged into the Tyran Federation, Necromunda's product had been people—an enormous population.

After the Imperium merged into the Federation, and the Federation became the Galactic Federation, Necromunda's products became ships and manufacturing.

When the Federation issued the order for a "Humanity-Centered Counteroffensive" against the extragalactic Tyranids and preparations began, Necromunda's shipbuilding companies started producing communications vessels. These ships were essentially mobile terminals for a "faster-than-light communications network."

After learning of these ships, Qin Xa and Angron immediately contacted a shipbuilding company and met its manager at Necromunda's spaceport.

The two stood on a spaceport platform, gazing at the enormous communications vessel.

A blue force field formed by gravity beams held the massive ship in its berth.

"The latest communications vessel."

"It doesn't use the dimensional communications technology widely promoted during the era of the Lord of Tyran. Instead, it uses technology based on four-dimensional science. We obtained this technology after the Necrons joined the Federation and put it to use."

"The principles are extremely complicated, but if you're a customer looking to buy and use it, you only need to know one thing: this communications technology allows people at opposite ends of the galaxy to communicate in real time."

The manager spoke animatedly as he introduced the communications vessel.

Halfway through, Angron focused his gaze on the manager, because the man was a dwarf.

There were space dwarves in the universe they came from as well.

However, throughout the entire Great Crusade, only the Imperial Fists had encountered them... Mark IV Power Armor had been developed specifically to deal with space dwarves.

"What do you think of this ship?" the dwarf asked.
