"No one knew?"
Hogg's sighing made Moke chuckle inwardly.
The four ultimate warriors of the Yulan Continent were all rulers of the Dark Forest, nothing more than experimental products of Lord Beirut.
"Beirut...?!" Moke's expression suddenly froze!
"Beirut's avatar in the Yulan Continent was a Sovereign avatar. He could search the memories of Saint Realm experts with a single thought! What about my memories?"
A chill ran down Moke's spine, as though something was secretly watching him.
He felt somewhat uneasy.
"Moke, what's wrong?" Hogg noticed that Moke had suddenly turned pale and could not help asking. Had he been injured in the battle just now?
"I'm fine, Father. I'm just not used to destroying corpses and erasing evidence for the first time."
He casually came up with an excuse.
"Not used to it?"
Hogg blinked. But his son had seemed quite efficient when he acted just now.
"System, no one can search my memories, right?"
"Wouldn't that mean I'd be exposed?" Moke called out to the system in his mind.
But he received no response. His Sign-in System seemed incapable of speaking.
However, when Moke opened the sign-in panel, a line of small text appeared below.
[The host is protected by the system. When subjected to a soul search, the system will simulate complete virtual memories for the soul searcher. The host faces no risk of exposure.]
"Whew!"
Moke breathed a sigh of relief.
He knew it. The system would not be so useless.
If his soul were really searched, wouldn't the system be exposed as well?
"Moke, I know you mature early, and now that you're so strong and know so many things, your father will treat you like an adult."
Hogg and Moke sat on opposite sides of a table.
Facing each other.
"Yes, Father." Moke nodded solemnly.
Then Hogg said, "About your mother..."
"Uncle Hillman told me everything on the way back."
Moke directly sold Hillman out.
"That brat Hillman." Hogg smiled helplessly, then grew slightly more serious. "I will not give up on avenging your mother."
"Father, of course we cannot give up on avenging Mother!"
Moke gritted his teeth. "Duke Patterson, King Clayde, and the Radiant Church—we cannot spare a single one of them. We must completely destroy their forces!"
"Good!"
Hogg laughed loudly. "Moke, you truly are a descendant of the Baruch Clan!"
"Duke Patterson and King Clayde can both be dealt with once you and Wharton reach the Saint Realm. But the Radiant Church..."
Hogg sighed helplessly. "The Radiant Church is not something we can contend with."
"Not necessarily!" Moke shook his head.
"Oh?"
Hope reignited in Hogg's eyes. Instinctively, he chose to believe Moke.
Moke said, "Father, the Dragonblood Secret Canon clearly records that descendants of the Baruch Clan can activate the Dragonblood Warrior Bloodline by consuming dragon blood.
"And an adult Saint Realm Dragonblood Warrior is strong enough to overpower a Saint Realm dragon!"
"What?"
Hogg suddenly stood up in excitement, his eyes widening. "Right, right! How could I have forgotten that?"
"Once you and your younger brother Wharton both become Saint Realm Dragonblood Warriors, you'll be fully capable of injuring or even capturing a dragon alive and providing dragon blood for your younger brother Linley!"
"No, Father, there's you as well!" Moke looked at Hogg with a smile.
"Right, me too!" Hogg laughed. "I can become a Saint Realm Dragonblood Warrior too."
"Then our generation of the Baruch Clan will have four Saint Realm Dragonblood Warriors!"
Moke said happily, "Saint Realm Dragonblood Warriors are recognized as peak Saint Realm experts. They can overpower supreme Saint Realm magical beasts like Black Dragons and the Hydra Emperor!"
"With the four of us as Saint Realm Dragonblood Warriors, we may not lack a chance to destroy the Radiant Church!"
"Yes, yes, yes! Moke, you're right. Perhaps your mother isn't dead yet?"
Hogg was extremely excited. "Then our family of five can reunite!"
"Mother..." Moke's gaze darkened, but he did not tell Hogg the truth for now.
His mother and vengeance might be the hope keeping Hogg alive.
"No!"
Hogg suddenly furrowed his brow. "Consuming dragon blood will make one explode and die!"
That was precisely what the Dragonblood Secret Canon recorded.
"Father, all things restrain one another. There must be something that can offset the negative effects of consuming dragon blood," Moke comforted Hogg.
"Once I return to the Ernst Institute, I'll secretly investigate what can be consumed together with dragon blood to ensure that you and my younger brother remain unharmed."
"Right, you're right." Hogg nodded. "And the claim that consuming the blood of living dragons causes one to explode and die is only what our ancestors recorded."
"Perhaps they were forced to alter it under the Dragon Clan's tyranny."
"Yes, yes." Moke echoed him.
"But, Father."
Moke reminded him seriously, "Before my younger brother and I reach the Saint Realm, you must not act alone. If the Radiant Church discovers us...
"Not only you, Father, but me, Linley, and Wharton will all die."
Moke understood Hogg's obsession.
Perhaps only the lives of his three sons could keep Hogg in line for the time being.
"Mm!"
Hogg's heart trembled, and he nodded heavily.
If anything happened to his three children, he would not rest in peace even in death.
"Don't worry!"
Hogg laughed. "Now that we've uncovered every mastermind behind this, I'll settle down and properly serve as the lord of Wushan Town.
"Then I'll slowly wait for my precious sons to grow up, until they become Saint Realm Dragonblood Warriors!"
Moke chuckled. "I'm truly relieved that Father can think this way."
"Smack!"
Hogg slapped him. "Which one of us is the father here?"
Hogg glared at him. This brat was not even ten yet, but he was far too mature!
If Hogg had not watched Moke grow up since childhood and known that this was simply Moke's personality, he might really have worried that Moke was some kind of monster in disguise.
"Hehe, you're my father." Moke scratched his head and chuckled.
Revenge was now within reach, and perhaps his wife Lina was still alive.
After learning this news, Hogg seemed to have gained a little more of the spirit of a living person.
"Big Brother?"
The next morning, Wharton got up groggily, washed up, and got dressed.
After sitting at the dining table, he actually found his eldest brother Moke, whom he had not seen for a long time, sitting across from him!
Little Wharton immediately jumped down in excitement and pounced toward Moke.
"Whoa!"
"You're only seven, yet you're already this strong?" Moke chuckled as he caught little Wharton, who had pounced on him.
Seven-year-old Wharton did not seem any weaker than Linley had been at seven.
The Dragonblood Warrior Bloodline truly was something special.
"Big Brother, Big Brother, when did you come back?"
"Big Brother, did you bring me anything tasty?"
"Big Brother, Big Brother, is the Ernst Institute fun? Can you take me there to play?"
Seven-year-old Wharton had a chubby little face and looked somewhat simple-minded.
He kept acting spoiled and questioning Moke in his arms, his laughter ringing out like silver bells.
