As he panted in disarray, the crimson in the duke's eyes suddenly surged.

A river of blood appeared out of nowhere.

In an instant, the enormous blood-red shadow described by the Medjai leader took shape. It had grotesque gray wings and fangs, and its form was almost like Susanoo.
"I can't fight him head-on. I need to find a chance to escape—" The duke gritted his teeth. The blood energy he had only just managed to recover was nearly depleted.
