Aragaki Yasushi sneered. His two paper arms instantly transformed into spears and shot after the fleeing Mist ninja, extending at an absurd speed. Before the man had taken two steps, the spears had run him through and pinned him to the ground.

As the last Mist ninja drew his final breath, the surrounding fog seemed to lose its support and slowly began to dissipate. The dim view gradually cleared.

With his vision restored, Asuma looked toward Aragaki Yasushi. The moment he saw him in his three-headed, six-armed paper form, his eyes lit up, and he exclaimed enviously, "Paper Style can do that too? That's so convenient!"

Aragaki Yasushi crouched to search the corpse, not even looking up as he grumbled, "It's not as useful as you think. Paper Style is pretty vulnerable to water. Look at this fog—it's wrinkled my paper body."

As he spoke, he pinched one of his paper arms.

The damp air had indeed left it all crumpled, as limp as a sheet of A4 paper soaked in water.

Konan's Paper Style might not be vulnerable to water or fire, but that was because she'd incorporated Chakra Nature Transformation, altering her Paper Style so it could withstand both.

Aragaki Yasushi's Origami form, however, didn't come from a Paper Style secret technique. It came from the magical paper of the Paper Thief.

That guy in the original story was vulnerable to fire, water, and sharp blades. He had all the weaknesses paper was supposed to have.

Luckily, the Ox Talisman strengthened his paper body, making it much tougher than before. Ordinary blades could no longer hurt him, but water and fire were still his natural enemies.

At that thought, Aragaki Yasushi's eyes suddenly lit up.

That's right! I have the Horse Talisman!

Could it get rid of this kind of negative effect?

He immediately activated the Horse Talisman, and a faint glow enveloped his body.

The next moment, his crumpled paper body visibly straightened and smoothed out, without a single wrinkle left. It was as good as new.

Aragaki Yasushi grinned from ear to ear as he looked at his restored paper body.

At that moment, Rin was crouched beside Obito, her palm glowing faintly green as she used the Mystical Palm Technique to heal the wound on his arm.

And Obito, no longer in pain, was back to grinning and showering Rin with compliments.

The way he acted like a lovesick puppy made Aragaki Yasushi roll his eyes.

On the other side, Kakashi leaped onto a nearby tree branch and squinted into the distance. After a moment, he took a map from his clothes and studied it carefully, then called out, "Quit dawdling. We've still got half a day's journey ahead of us, but we'll reach the camp soon. Let's move!"

Aragaki Yasushi and the others quickly regrouped and set off again.

They didn't run into any more Mist ninja ambushes along the way. Before night had fully fallen, they finally reached the area near Konoha Camp.

Before they could get close to the camp, three figures came over.

The person leading them had a pair of Byakugan, making him stand out.

He was clearly a ninja from the Hyuga Clan, sent specifically to welcome them.

Led by the three of them, Aragaki Yasushi and the others entered the camp.

As soon as they stepped inside, a notification appeared out of thin air before his eyes.

Aragaki Yasushi's lips curled up at once, and he was overjoyed.

That's right, coming to support the Mist Battlefield had triggered a mission too.

Three hundred points wasn't much, but added to the six hundred he already had, it brought him to exactly nine hundred—enough for a ten-pull from the limited-time pool!

It was only a ten-pull from the Pokemon limited-time pool, but Aragaki Yasushi still planned to give it a try.

The Pokemon pool had to be better than the Jackie Chan Adventures one, right?

After all, there were only so many magical items in Jackie Chan Adventures, while Pokemon were everywhere in the Pokemon world. The odds of getting junk had to be lower.

Maybe he'd get a powerful Pokemon or move with just one pull.

The more he thought about it, the more impatient he got. Aragaki Yasushi silently thought to himself:

Aragaki Yasushi glanced over the results, his heart lifting.

Thunderbolt?

He really could get moves!

Aragaki Yasushi hurriedly opened the information to take a look.

[Thunderbolt: An Electric-type move that attacks the target with a powerful jolt of electricity. It may also leave the target paralyzed.]

Aragaki Yasushi grinned from ear to ear, thinking he'd made a fortune.

He'd actually gotten a move!

Without a second thought, he immediately claimed it.

The next moment, Aragaki Yasushi instantly understood how to use Thunderbolt.

This move was so convenient.

It was completely different from ordinary Lightning Release Ninjutsu. It didn't require Hand Seals at all; he could use it with a mere thought, as if it were instinct.

Even better, it didn't have to consume chakra. He could still use it through physical stamina after running out of chakra, which made it incredibly flexible.

Of course, chakra was produced by combining spiritual and physical energy.

If he truly used it all up, he'd usually be out of physical stamina too.

Even so, Aragaki Yasushi was very pleased with the move.

After all, it was Pikachu's signature move.

Besides, his own chakra nature was Lightning, and he'd mastered several Lightning Release Ninjutsu left behind by his parents.

But compared with his Origami form, those techniques were ridiculously weak.

Ever since he'd drawn the Paper Thief's magical paper, he'd long since forgotten about them. They were hardly ever useful.

Now that he had Thunderbolt, he could use it once in a while without drawing too much attention.

What was this Blue Badge supposed to be?

It was completely useless!

He wasn't going to the Pokemon world to compete. What did he need a Gym Badge for?

After grumbling about the junk, Aragaki Yasushi looked again at the Poke Ball and the Elixir.

Those two seemed pretty useful, at least.

Probably... pretty useful, right?

He wondered whether the Poke Ball could catch summoning beasts.

Weren't Pokemon and summoning beasts both summoned to help fight?

They looked pretty similar. He'd find a chance to try it sometime. If he could catch a powerful summoning beast, that'd be a huge win!

Suddenly, a wicked idea popped into Aragaki Yasushi's head.

Come to think of it, I wonder if it can catch people.

If the Poke Ball can catch humans, that'd be amazing!

Next time I meet a beautiful woman, I'll just throw a ball at her and catch her as a slave.

As for the Elixir, even though it said it worked on Pokemon, maybe it worked on humans too?

Or maybe it worked on summoning beasts as well?

He'd catch a Mist ninja and use him as a test subject sometime.

All in all, Aragaki Yasushi was quite pleased with this draw.

He had to admit, the Pokemon pool really was better quality than the Jackie Chan Adventures pool!

Talismans weren't that easy to draw, after all.

Getting two in a row before had been pure luck.

If he had bad luck and drew a pile of KFC Crazy Thursday fragments, wouldn't he be furious?
