Aragaki Yasushi opened the detailed descriptions of the moves and read them one by one.

After reading them, Aragaki Yasushi couldn't help grinning.
Not bad. All three moves were pretty useful.
Rest was especially good. It was basically a younger version of the Horse Talisman.
A good night's sleep brought you back to full health and cured all status conditions.
It did have one minor drawback: you actually had to sleep to use it. Unlike the Horse Talisman, which could restore you to full health instantly, with no windup. That was a bit of a hassle.
Still, it was pretty good. After all, it was a genuine ability of his, not an external object.
Next, Aragaki Yasushi looked at Hypnosis and was just as satisfied.
This move was quite useful too. It could put enemies to sleep. Plenty of genjutsu could do the same, but the thing was, he didn't know any genjutsu.
This filled in one of his weak spots and gave him a good way to catch people off guard. From now on, whenever he ran into a tough opponent, he could put them to sleep first and take it from there.
Finally, Aragaki Yasushi raised an eyebrow as he looked at Dark Pulse.
This thing was a bit like killing intent in the Naruto World.
Only much more powerful.
He remembered that Orochimaru had once used killing intent to scare Naruto and the other two kids, but that kind of killing intent was only good for intimidating children who'd never been on a battlefield.
Against a ninja like Aragaki Yasushi, who'd crawled out of mountains of corpses, it wouldn't do much.
Dark Pulse, on the other hand, was much stronger. It was more like the pressure Otsutsuki Kaguya released with her Byakugan, capable of leaving enemies unable to move.
It was another handy tool for clearing out weak foes and controlling the battlefield.
After checking out the moves, Aragaki Yasushi headed back to the inn with Uchiha Inabi and Hyuga Homura.
By the time they returned, dawn was breaking, and the eastern horizon had turned pale.
Though Aragaki Yasushi hadn't slept all night, he wasn't the least bit tired. As soon as he entered, he clapped his hands. "Don't sit around. Let's have a quick meeting. We need to discuss something important."
He turned to Uchiha Shisui, who looked full of energy, and got straight to the point. "Shisui, have you heard from the village? When will reinforcements arrive?"
After all, overthrowing the Third Mizukage's rule was no small matter. It was practically a full-blown civil war in Kirigakure.
No matter how short-staffed the village was, it wouldn't really send just the four of them to face the whole thing alone. They would definitely send reinforcements.
At most, their team would lead the way and scout things out.
Shisui hurried forward a step and replied, "The reinforcements were already on their way when the village issued the order."
"I also heard that the village temporarily pulled Jonin Minato off the Kumogakure front and put him in charge of our mission. He should be here soon."
Aragaki Yasushi wasn't surprised at all. He looked as if he'd expected it.
As expected, it was Minato. That guy was Konoha's go-to firefighter.
Wherever he was needed, that was where he went.
Besides, Minato was strong enough to handle a mission like overthrowing the Mizukage's rule with ease.
And with his Flying Thunder God Technique, he could travel between places in no time. He'd get here quickly, too. There really wasn't anyone better suited for the mission.
"In that case, let's rest for a while and get our strength back."
"I heard the Kaguya Clan is planning to launch a rebellion tonight. We'll gather some information and test the Third Mizukage's strength first. No jumping into anything recklessly."
Aragaki Yasushi turned to Shisui and gave him his orders. "Shisui, I'll leave you in charge of keeping watch over the inn during the day. Keep an eye out for the village's reinforcements, and don't let any strangers get close."
Shisui immediately straightened up and nodded solemnly. "Don't worry, Jonin Aragaki. I'll get it done."
Once everything had been arranged, they each returned to their rooms to rest, preparing for the night's operation.
Back in his room, Aragaki Yasushi didn't go straight to sleep. Instead, he walked to the window and looked toward the Kaguya Clan compound, his expression turning serious.
He considered the situation.
According to the original story, Orochimaru, that old schemer, would show up on the night the Kaguya Clan was wiped out and abduct Kimimaro, the clan's orphaned survivor.
He'd originally thought the village's reinforcements would be Orochimaru. After all, that guy had always coveted all kinds of Kekkei Genkai. But who would've thought it would be Minato instead?
So, would Orochimaru still come tonight?
Aragaki Yasushi was honestly a little curious.
Speaking of Kimimaro, Aragaki Yasushi couldn't help feeling tempted.
He was a promising prospect. Whether he followed Aragaki down the Hokage path in the future or helped him build his own little organization, he'd be a valuable addition.
Though Kimimaro had a Kekkei Genkai disease, Aragaki had the Horse Talisman, so he could cure it easily.
Of course, Aragaki hadn't forgotten Haku of the Yuki Clan, either.
After all, Aragaki Yasushi had personally killed Zabuza. Naturally, he'd take over Zabuza's most useful "tool."
But Haku probably hadn't even been born yet. Even if he had, he'd be only a year or two old at most, too young to even talk.
Besides, Aragaki Yasushi didn't know Haku's exact location. He only knew he might be in the Land of Water.
Even if he wanted to look, he wouldn't be able to find him. He'd have to put the thought aside for now.
Forget it. He'd see how things went tonight. First, he'd watch the Kaguya Clan's rebellion go wrong, then see whether Orochimaru showed up.
Aragaki Yasushi shrugged and thought to himself.
The night grew dark, and the mist over Kirigakure thickened.
Aragaki Yasushi's eyes snapped open. He stretched, looking thoroughly refreshed.
Sleeping was an ordinary thing, after all.
There was hardly a living person who couldn't do it.
Still, Aragaki Yasushi had never slept so comfortably before. All his fatigue had vanished, and even the slight soreness left over from his earlier fight had disappeared without a trace.
After waking, he felt refreshed from head to toe, as if he'd used the Horse Talisman. It felt amazing.
He immediately realized what had happened.
It had to be the Rest move he'd just drawn.
Satisfied, Aragaki Yasushi stretched again, left his bedroom, and walked into the outer room.
The room was quiet. Uchiha Shisui was the only one there, sitting at the table with a book in his hands while warily watching the door.
The moment Aragaki Yasushi came out, Shisui set down the book and stood to greet him respectfully. "Jonin Aragaki, you're awake."
Aragaki Yasushi glanced around the empty room and asked casually, "Where are Inabi and Homura? Did they both go out?"
Shisui nodded at once, still serious. "Yes, Jonin Aragaki. Jonin Inabi and Jonin Hyuga just went out to gather information."
Aragaki Yasushi nodded and rolled his wrists. "All right, then I should go out and join the fun too. We can't miss the Kaguya Clan's rebellion."
Before leaving, he glanced at Shisui, who looked a little stiff, and couldn't help asking, "Shisui, having to guard this base all the time and sit on the sidelines must be pretty uncomfortable, right?"
Shisui quickly waved his hands, his expression sincere. "Not at all. I actually feel guilty that I haven't been able to help everyone."
"I know you're worried something might happen to me. After all, I'm only a Chunin, and I'm not strong enough. If I went with you, I might just hold everyone back and cause trouble."
Looking at how considerate and levelheaded Shisui was, Aragaki Yasushi couldn't help smiling. "You're quite perceptive. You're nothing like those Uchihas who have an ego bigger than the sky. You're bound to have a bright future."
Shisui lowered his head, seeming a little embarrassed, and quickly said, "You're too kind, Jonin Aragaki. I still have a lot to learn from you and the other Jonin. I'll keep working hard to improve my strength."
