Meng Yiran is the eldest miss of the Dragon-Snake Family and the granddaughter of Dragon Duke Meng Shu and Snake Granny. Her family allowed her to enroll at Blue Tyrant Academy, where she formed a relationship with Tang San despite reports of his earlier behavior. She initially tested Tang San's commitment through rules she set for their relationship, assessing his personal limits and suitability to the Dragon-Snake Family. 100 101

Ye Xuan investigated Meng Yiran and her family before entering Blue Tyrant Academy under the alias Xuan Ye. He deliberately adopted traits matching her ideal partner—composure, strength, gentleness, and mystery—and used carefully arranged encounters and cultivation guidance to gain her trust.
