Solam was furious at the arrival of this bunch of animals. At such a precarious time, these bastards had actually gone out whoring around! They had no organization, no discipline! "Your feud with the Drow has nothing to do with me, and I have no interest in listening to you idiots air your grievances. I know you attacked my follower! Now hand over that idiot and get lost!" Solam had no time to talk nonsense with these elves. He just wanted to get this over with and go back for breakfast. Being watched like a monkey show by the people of Silverymoon first thing in the morning was not Solam's idea of fun.
Elves were famous for their high opinion of themselves. It was only natural for them to bully others, but if anyone did anything to them, they would be filled with endless resentment and expect everyone's concern and sympathy. In short, they wanted to be the protagonists, with the world revolving around them.
When they heard Solam dismiss the countless atrocities the Drow had committed against their noble surface elf kind, every elf was stunned. How could there be someone in this world so lacking in sympathy? Did he not know of the Drow's evil and the elves' suffering?
