The demons within the storm looked utterly desperate. Though they struggled with all their might, it did little good. Swept up by the massive spatial storm, tens of thousands of demons vanished in an instant, with only a handful surviving.

Even those survivors were barely holding on. They prayed to every being they could think of, hoping something would appear to save them. Unfortunately, no savior existed. They could only continue struggling on their own.

They felt as if they had spent a century in the most terrifying hell. Yet to those outside, they had merely remained within a mass of pure darkness for a few seconds.

At last, after ten seconds, the void vanished! The terrifying spatial storm was gone, as was the suffocating void and the destruction that could descend at any moment. Everything returned to normal. The sky was still the same sky, the ice plain was still the same ice plain, and everything was quiet and peaceful. Other than a huge, perfectly smooth semicircular crater in the ground, it all seemed like an illusion.

But everyone who had truly been there knew it was no illusion.

Just moments ago, tens of thousands of Frost Giants and demons had been fighting desperately across this battlefield. Now, every trace of their existence had been erased! They had vanished completely without even having the chance to scream!
